The Story

I taught myself to play the electronic keyboard on a tiny Casio model that we had got from Singapore when I was 11 years old. It was one of the small midi keyboards that was a new concept at that time. After hours of hurting my wrists with cramped playing, I was able to impress my Mom enough for her to buy me the first real Keyboard: Yamaha PSR 510.

After a couple of years I upgraded to PSR 520 which I ended up playing for almost 10 yrs. During those years, I joined my first rock band called Ultravires as a keyboard player when I was in Engineering College. We performed in several college fests all around Kolkata, INDIA. Eventually I bought the PSR 3000 in 2005 over the Roland Fantom X6 (which I did consider) just because of my familiarity with the Yamaha PSR series.
