I feel the pain, it burns within,
I try hard to find a meaning...
Its there somewhere, I can feel
But it keeps eluding me still..
A brand new life, only for me -
What was it that I were to see?
I look back on my life so far,
And cant help but wonder
Was there even a single deed
That earns me my life indeed?
Or perhaps I look the wrong way
Its what I can still do today...
If only I would get to know...
If my duties would clearly show -
But time is never on our side,
So I let my instincts be my guide.
And if I learn to open my heart
I believe I can make a start
For even though the clock is ticking...
Its never too late for a new beginning.
All I hope is to make a difference,
To justify my whole existence
And till I know what needs to be done
My quest for life's reason shall go on and on...
